I did not see that as part of the install. In your XF86Config, you need to have /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc defined as a FontPath element. As well, you need /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/misc to exist, and have fonts.alias and fonts.dir files.
