The following reply was made to PR ports/4458; it has been noted by GNATS. From: MIHIRA "Sanpei" Yoshiro <sanpei@yy.cs.keio.ac.jp> To: freebsd-gnats-submit@freebsd.org, toyonaga@msd.ts.fujitsu.co.jp Cc: Subject: Re: ports/4458: MH's packf command dumps core Date: Sun, 14 Sep 1997 16:20:01 +0900 >But that command dumps core on FreeBSD's port. >After core dump. Packed file that contains only the first to pack remains. This problem was discussed in FreeBSD-users-jp Mailing List. Some article is : http://www.jp.freebsd.org/~yuki/FreeBSD/readmail.cgi?source=users-jp&docnum=5354 http://www.jp.freebsd.org/~yuki/FreeBSD/readmail.cgi?source=users-jp&docnum=5401 But no one fix this problem...... I think: One solution is that ja-mh would use new japaneized MH patch(*1): ftp://ftp.tut.ac.jp:/Linux/JE-0.9.8a/sources/net/mh-6.8.3+-jp2c+-1.02.patch.gz The other is to merge a patch from MH-6.4.3(mail/mh). -- Yoshiro MIHIRA
