At least on OpenBSD, em(4) is partially broken: it fails to receive multicast ethernet frames. This effectively breaks both IPv4 and IPv6 multicast, including IPv6 neighbor discovery. I have one report that says FreeBSD 4.9's em(4) has the same bug. Can any more people confirm that this breakage exists? In -CURRENT? I don't have a FreeBSD box with em(4). -- Christian "naddy" Weisgerber naddy@mips.inka.de
