To: freebsd-questions@freebsd.org Subject: High CPU Usage Root Telnet Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Greetings, I am getting really high CPU usuage on the following: /0 /1 /2 /3 /4 /5 /6 /7 /8 /9 /10 Load Average >>>>> /0 /10 /20 /30 /40 /50 /60 /70 /80 /90 /100 root telnet XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX No one is "telnet'd" into this machine, just SSH. ps aux |grep telnet brings up: root 89084 45.7 0.2 1220 416 p1- R Fri09AM 1124:29.83 telnet workstation.domain.com A "w" brings up no one logged in since then, nor do the logs show anyone logging in at that specfic time.
