In preparation for final burial of my 1.1.5.1 (and the impending birth of the new 2.1 machine) I have begun moving everything over. Whilst playing merrily along in this, I have found an incompatibility in seyon. I don't know where the actual problem is, probably not seyon, but here's the symptom: while doing a zmodem download from the University, I type 'sz <filename' and expect seyon to automagically detect the zmodem startup sequence and kick off a local rz. One does in fact get started, but with this diagnostic: stty:stdout appears redirected, but stdin is the control descriptor: undefined error: 0 and the comm hangs until I kill the local rz. I see that the zmodem I used is a different version from what I had on 1.1.5.1, so I went and got the old sources, from rzsz9202.tgz, but I got the same error, so I think this isn't a zmodem bug, cause it still works fine from the old machine. Does anyone have any ideas on this? ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- Chuck Robey | Interests include any kind of voice or data chuckr@eng.umd.edu | communications topic, C programming, and Unix. 7608 Topton St. | New Carrollton, MD 20784 | I run Journey2 (Freebsd 2.0) and n3lxx (301) 459-2316 | (FreeBSD 1.1.5.1) and am I happy! ----------------------------+-----------------------------------------------
