I recently purchased 2 machines with Adaptec 2940UW controllers, with the intent of installing Linux 2.0.33 on both. Unfortunatly I am not quite sure what arguments to pass to the kernel to get the card to work. Each time I boot off the redhat or slackware disks, no scsi hosts are detected and the kernel panics with a crc error. Sigh. Currently the card is on io 6300, with irq 10. What arguments should I pass to the kernel? Any help is GREATLY aprreciated =) -Adam Adam Schaefer clorox@marblehead.com --==SysAdmin==-- // Marblehead.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe aic7xxx" in the body of the message
