Linux doesnt work either, nor Novell Server stuff. Here is a explanation from Compaq, does it make sense, and with this data point can any progress be made? Thanks! Compaq Deskpro machines that contain a PCI bus have protected mode 32 bit PCI services located at the end address of memory (4 gigabytes). This memory address is not usable by Novell Server software and similar software that cannot manage non-contiguous blocks of extended memory. PCI drivers that do direct calls to the PCI 32 bit address will not function in this environment. -Crh Charles Henrich Michigan State University henrich@crh.cl.msu.edu http://rs560.msu.edu/~henrich/
