Since much of my work must be done with M$ applications, I've got an X server running on the Win2k machine, and tunnel all my x11 apps from the other machines back to this desktop (through ssh, of course). It eliminates a need for the KVM, as well as all the unnecessary mice, monitors, keyboards, etc. and I still get all my work done. I will admit... it's kind of odd seeing the Win2k taskbar underneath a Solaris CDE desktop, with an app or two from the FreeBSD box running in there with it.
