You should not need an exactly matching patchset any more. The only part
of FreeBSD that needs patching for c4b is i4b, and only if you want to
use it. The existing patchset in the current 1.1.1 release (yes, a
little bit newer than announced in the last mail) for 6-STABLE should
match 7-CURRENT for some time. Even the patchset for 5.3-RELEASE could
still be applied to 7-CURRENT regarding i4b.

If you do not need i4b, simply unpack the c4b archive, compile and
install (follow the new README). You do not need to touch the kernel.

If you need i4b and c4b together, you have to patch the kernel and the
user part of i4b, nothing more. And for this the patchsets within the
package should also be appliable to 6.x and recent 7-CURRENT. At least
to a 7-CURRENT from 2006-01-17 the 6-STABLE patchset was applied without
fuzz.
