With a specific kernel (that happens to include some NWIP encapsulation pseudo device) I the machine hangs after the sio (console) device is probed. This NWIP thing works mostly on a different machine. So, my guess is this doesn't have anything to do with the sio driver but happens somewhere in the initialization of that pseudo device. Why do I even bother this list with this? Well, anyone ever tried to do NetWare tunneled through a VPN? I do it and it works on one kind of machine but not on the other kind. regards, -Gunther -- Gunther Schadow, M.D., Ph.D. gschadow@regenstrief.org Medical Information Scientist Regenstrief Institute for Health Care Adjunct Assistent Professor Indiana University School of Medicine tel:1(317)630-7960 http://aurora.regenstrief.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-small" in the body of the message
