Just to bring this up, when was the last time anyone actually built
the i386 EFI loader?  There might be a bit of work to be done to bring
it back into a buildable state.

There most certainly *is* some work needed to be able to build on
amd64.  I spent last night poking around, and identified a few things,
but I probably shouldn't go any farther until the 21st (or at least
until I have a repository)
