My employer just provided me one and everytime I send (!) something to the serial port the machine freezes immediately and I'm not even able to get to DDB anymore. It's running RELENG_4 as of December 1, no pccards inserted etc. I tried a lot of things, without much success. The serial port seems to work with Winblows 98 however, so it's unlikely to be a hardware problem. I put the dmesg output on http://defiant.vmunix.org/~torstenb/dmesg-verbose just in case someone wants to have a look. Any help is appreciated. -tb To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
