Can you send me the output of fgrep ppp_ /etc/rc.network /etc/rc.conf /etc/defaults/rc.conf please. I suspect /etc/defaults/rc.conf still doesn't have ppp_user defined, resulting in ``su -c "blah"'' being executed.
