To: freebsd-multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG (Free BSD Multimedia List) Date: Fri, 24 Apr 1998 19:51:42 -0400 (EDT) From: "Stan Brown" X-Mailer: ELM [version 2.4 PL24] Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Sender: owner-freebsd-multimedia@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org I am trying to use VAT to talk betwee 2 FreeBSD machines. I have read the man page, and I am afraid I am still at a loss as to how to use it in it's simplest form. When I run vat with no options, it prompts me for a destination. When I run it with the other machines name, it starts up a window that as soon as I place it goes awau, and I get an message in the window I started it from saying I need to enter a port number also. Couls some kind soul give me a quick pointer on how to use it just as an intecom?
