The following reply was made to PR ports/90809; it has been noted by GNATS. From: Mikhail Teterin <mi+mx@aldan.algebra.com> To: bug-followup@freebsd.org, jmelo@freebsdbrasil.com.br Cc: Subject: Re: ports/90809: Update port: graphics/libfpx update to 1.2.0.13 Date: Thu, 22 Dec 2005 10:32:13 -0500 Jean! Although ImageMagick claims to "maintain" the software, their primary intention seems to one-up the GraphicsMagick people, who don't maintain it either. Last I checked, the only changes in the "releases" from them was in the (auto-generated) configure/libtool glue, which the port is not using anyway. If you'd like, you can investigate and fix the 64-bit bugs (it crashes on amd64, for example) in the code and, possibly, teach it to handle some FPX-features, that it currently can't. Otherwise, let's leave the port alone until a relase, which changes a C or C++ source file shows up. Thank you for your efforts, -mi
