If it's a laptop, it's well worth stripping them down each year and evicting all the accumulated dust bunnies that build up with use especially if used in a carpeted room, and/or you have cats! Take care to create an ESD safe (equipotential, not necessarily "grounded" work area.)  Take pictures as you dismantle things, so you know where it all goes back together later on. Enjoy! Dave B.
