I'm using the ucd-snmp, the port in progress, from ftp.ece.ucdavis.edu and
the diffs from ftp.ki.net/pub/users/scrappy. 

It's a lot easier to setup than CMU's because of the example configs they
provide.  It also doesn't spew out all the incomprehensible garbage on
startup that most of us directed to /dev/null.
