Whatever is decided about actual locations, a strategically placed symbolic link or two would eliminate any incompatibility between the various systems. Also, it is not necessarily a good idea for the install directory to be the same for cnews and inn, though a standard location might be desirable for some of the database files (active, history, newsgroups, ...) -- Adam David
