--=====================_25846584==_.ALT Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Dear Sir: Can you provide me with some detailed information on how I can set up multiple network interfaces on FreeBSD-3.0. My machine is a Pentium-II P2B-LS Motherboard. My outside interface is connected to the on-board Intel EtherExpress (fxp0). I still need to configure two (2) more NIC, each on the available ISA slots. So far, the kernel is able to see the two network interfaces at boottime as follows: 2 3C5x9 board(s) on ISA found at 0x300 0x210 ep0 at 0x300-0x30f irq 10 on isa ep0: utp[*UTP*] address 00:60:08:41:bc:bb ep1 at 0x210-0x21f irq 9 on isa ep1: utp[*UTP*] address 00:60:08:41:c2:a6 However, I can't ping to the internal clients. For example, one NIC belongs to the internal 192.168.1.0 network. Also, I've been trying to set the default gateway to the external router to which i have not found any success. Please help me. If you can, please send me some configuration notes and illustrations. Thanks. ---- Noriel ----------------------------------------------------------------- Noriel Christopher C.
