Yes. ccd is fine as long as the hardware is OK. If a component of a mirror fails, however, you have to reboot and reconfigure ccd before you can continue. Vinum recovers automatically. > It looks much more complicated to setup than ccd. A little. But it's not really that complicated, and the documentation is (marginally) better.
