https://bugs.freebsd.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=289168 karl@denninger.net changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |karl@denninger.net --- Comment #11 from karl@denninger.net --- I've had problems with the interfaces covered by if_re and the kmod driver versions -- either I get interface timeouts and resets, nothing (for one of the kmod versions) or lots of retries under iperf3 when stressed under load. The "factory" (in-kernel) driver under stress will hang and reset quite reliably on 2.5G LAN ports, particularly if you try to use two of them in a box as a gateway/firewall. Its severe enough that I consider these ports to be unusable under FreeBSD although I have one in my Windows desktop machine and under Windows it works acceptably-well, including under fairly-extreme stress (e.g. image backups, rendering video to network drives, etc.) all at 2.5G speeds. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
