While doing kernel and other software builds, I've noticed a very strange
problem with the character mode display on my Tecra 720CDT LCD. Certain
uppercase characters become lower case! It's almost always the 27th column
but sometimes other columns are affected too. I've seen underscores turn
into a triangular character as well.

Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this. It almost looks
like a display memory problem. (No, I haven't been drinking... ;v)
Regards,
- Mike
