I really don't know what caused it, but here's what happened on my E250's hme: * dhclient complains it isn't allowed to send a packet * static ifconfig and route configuration works okay, but: * I can't reach any external host, although: * I am able to successfully ping my own IP address. No firewall was loaded. I reverted to my June 7th kernel, which does work correctly. Any idea? Nothing out of the ordinary appeared in my dmesg or /var/log/messages. Roderick
