I'm looking into modifying the Xserver to support a touch screen interface, in addition to a mouse, that will provide absolute coordinates. Previously this was handled by modifying the Xserver, and I believe this was a good approach. I'm currently starting by building the X server for the Mach32, using the XFree86 2.0 release. It`s likely best to ftp or find a copy of a newer version, like 2.1, and base this development on that. I thought that while getting familiar with this some of you might provide some pointers to supporting the Mach64 card. I thought at least a Beta version is likely available, and was wonder if some documantaion on the card was available with minimal effort. I heard a kit was available from ATI, is something around that I can ftp or get via e-mail? Any suggestions would be great. -pete
