After fixing the port so that gscan2pdf 0.9.31 now starts, I'm back to this problem: scanning with gscan2pdf works, but as soom as I try to save, and hit the "save" button, the gui hangs, and there is no more output in the terminal / shell from where I started gscan2pdf. Here is gscan2pdf --debug out after starting gscan2pdf: tingo@kg-v2$ gscan2pdf --debug Constant subroutine main::LC_CTYPE redefined at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 Prototype mismatch: sub main::LC_CTYPE () vs none at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 Constant subroutine main::LC_NUMERIC redefined at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 Prototype mismatch: sub main::LC_NUMERIC () vs none at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 Constant subroutine main::LC_TIME redefined at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 Prototype mismatch: sub main::LC_TIME () vs none at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 Constant subroutine main::LC_COLLATE redefined at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 Prototype mismatch: sub main::LC_COLLATE () vs none at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 Constant subroutine main::LC_MONETARY redefined at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 Prototype mismatch: sub main::LC_MONETARY () vs none at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 Constant subroutine main::LC_MESSAGES redefined at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 Prototype mismatch: sub main::LC_MESSAGES () vs none at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 Constant subroutine main::LC_ALL redefined at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 Prototype mismatch: sub main::LC_ALL () vs none at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.10.1/Exporter.pm line 67. at /usr/local/bin/gscan2pdf line 165 gscan2pdf 0.9.31 Using en_US.ISO8859-1 locale Startup LC_NUMERIC C Running init Running sane_init Gtk2-Perl version 1.221 Built for 2.20.1 Running with 2.22.1 Using GtkImageView version 1.6.4 Using Gtk2::ImageView version 0.05 Using PDF::API2 version 0.73 $VAR1 = { 'no-blackfilter' => '', 'frontend' => 'scanimage-perl', 'mode' => 'Color', 'output-pages' => '1', 'Paper' => { 'US Legal' => { 'l' => '0', 'y' => '356', 'x' => '216', 't' => '0' }, 'US Letter' => { 'l' => '0', 'y' => '279', 'x' => '216', 't' => '0' }, 'A4' => { 'l' => '0', 'y' => '297', 'x' => '210', 't' => '0' } }, 'no-border-scan' => '', 'ocr engine' => 'ocropus', 'no-blurfilter' => '', 'y' => '297', 'layout' => 'single', 'session' => '/tmp/ugiLTsGbpj', 'cwd' => '/usr/home/tingo', 'Paper size' => 'A4', 'no-deskew' => '', 'user_defined_tools' => 'gimp %i', 'startup warning' => '1', 'default filename' => '%a %y-%m-%d', 'no-grayfilter' => '', 'no-border-align' => '', 'rotate facing' => '0', 'cache options' => '', 'window_x' => '297', 'quality' => '75', 'window_y' => '0', 'date offset' => '0', 'version' => '0.9.31', 'scan prefix' => '', 'device' => 'snapscan:libusb:/dev/usb:/dev/ugen2.2', 'no-noisefilter' => '', 'black-threshold' => '0.33', 'profile' => {}, 'unsharp radius' => '0', 'window_maximize' => '', 'white-threshold' => '0.9', 'pid' => '99120', 'unsharp amount' => '1', 'OCR output' => 'replace', 't' => '0', 'OCR on scan' => '', 'Page range' => 'all', 'default' => { 'snapscan:libusb:/dev/usb:/dev/ugen2.2' => { 'br-x' => '210' } }, 'window_height' => '992', 'rotate reverse' => '0', 'brightness' => '0', 'Dark threshold' => '0.12', 'pages to scan' => '1', 'resolution' => '300', 'Blank threshold' => '0.005', 'unpaper on scan' => '', 'libsane-perl version' => '0.03', 'x' => '210', 'downsample dpi' => '150', 'window_width' => '1009', 'deskew-scan-direction' => 'left,right', 'threshold tool' => '80', 'unsharp sigma' => '1', 'thumb panel' => '100', 'contrast' => '0', 'unsharp threshold' => '0.05', 'l' => '0', 'SANE version' => '1.0.21', 'no-mask-scan' => '', 'downsample' => '', 'restore window' => '1', 'pdf compression' => 'auto' }; Found Image::Magick Found ImageMagick Found scanadf Found xdg-email Found gocr Found tesseract Found cjb2 (djvu) Found unpaper Found libtiff Restoring session in /tmp/ugiLTsGbpj All my ports are updated.
