With one box I run isdn (i4b) on I had problems under 5.0 and I reverted back to 4.8 today after two days having been cut off the net with that box. I will stay at 4.8 until the isdn issues will have solved and I will probably revert the other 5.0 box to 4.8 because of those netgraph malloc leaks or bad malloc issues. I will try a last cvsup tonight to see if it has become better. Anyway, due to the hot switching between 5.0 and 4.8 I might have some undesired mix of libs and/or binaries. (I had SCSI disks booted under 4.8 and copied over the binaries and libs to the IDE disks over- writing the 5.0 binaries - yes, I also did a chflags noschg through the trees first. I have a bootable 4.8 ISDN kernel now again as I'm typing this. But I still can't start X because of lots of this kind of errors: /usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: /usr/X11R6/lib/libSM.so.6: Undefined symbol "__stderrp" What is wrong with this? -- Chris Christoph P. U.
