I am using ABit boards since 1997 - starting from sm5 - installed different
versions
of FreeBSD - 2.2.X, 3.0, 3.1 (3.2 - not yet) never had a problem (I used
different
CPUs -Intel Pentium, AMD K5, K6, K6-2). Didn't tried any SMP.
