Hi, something weird is happing in my gnome apps.... entering umlauts like=20 =E4 - 'a' with two dots... leads to a cut of the following text or to textcolor=3Dbackgroundcolor.... e.g. Using Netscape for http://www.uni-bremen.de/ and take a look in the task-bar.... its shows "Universit" but it should read "Universit=E4t Bremen" Or you are opening a gnome-terminal then using "vim" (vi cant really display umlauts) and entering something with umlauts... after entering an umlaut in the line you are typing blind.... only spaces are shown... I cant really tell you when this first was happening... GDM_LANG=3DC LANG=3DC Any idea? Maybe we can cut it down to shared lib? Or any GCC 3.x / 2.95 / Port / System problem....
