Since it is set to boot the HD first and it has a boot sector, the BIOS doesn't want to get by that. So, you want to go in to the BIOS and reconfigure it to put the CD boot in front of the HD. Then you can either completely reinstall the most recent FreeBSD or use the fisit to rebuild something on that disk. The key thing is to have both floppy and CD in the boot order before the Hard Disk.
