And my question has been answered, in the form of the new libkse and libthr=

threading libraries. :)

Thank you all very much for your replies (just one reply here, to save=20
littering the thread), and for taking the time to help me out. We now have =
a=20
working system for the Speedtouch USB modem (which was what I set out to do=
),=20
and plans to improve it with the new threading libraries when they've reach=
ed=20
stable releases.

And of course I'll continue to contribute to the FreeBSD project where I ca=
n.=20
:)
