Sorry for the uneccessary traffic. Disconnecting the printer didn't solve the issue. So turned the printer off and on again and that seems to have solved the problem. I don't know if the USB state was left on a bad state by a device I connected beforehand or if the printer's USB capabilities are just buggy. Cheers.
