Hello,

Laptop: compaq armada1520D
Xircom Credicard Ethernet adapter IIPS ( PS-CE2-10 )
(I have two of these Xircom's, both the same problems)

I'm having two problems with this card...
It is recognized as xe0 (so far so good)

- no settings are set at boot time (interface down, no default route)
(manual ifconfig inet 10.0.0.100 netmask 255.255.255.0 up does the job)

- It hangs when I try to telnet/ssh to the laptop (message = "xe0: watchdog timeout; resetting card" )
and I need to ifconfig down/up it . (this allows me to ssh and from then it stays up ...)

default pccard.conf

rc.conf:
inetd_enable="NO"
kern_securelevel="1"
kern_securelevel_enable="YES"
sshd_enable="YES"
apm_enable="YES"
pccard_enable="YES"
pccard_ifconfig_xe0="inet 10.0.0.100  netmask 255.255.255.0"
ifconfig_xe0="inet 10.0.0.100  netmask 255.255.255.0"
defaultrouter="10.0.0.254"

demsy# ifconfig xe0
xe0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
        inet 10.0.0.100 netmask 0xffffff00 broadcast 10.0.0.255
        ether 00:80:c7:19:57:e2
        media: autoselect (10baseT/UTP)
        supported media: autoselect 10base2/BNC 10baseT/UTP

Hope you have any hints for me,
I am new to FreeBSD (and Unix in general) but will assist with any debugging needed...

Thanks,
