I have a system that has two network cards in it,
whenever I try to set the network cards on the same subnet,
for example "192.168.1.1" and "192.168.1.2", it fails.
The error is: ifconfig: ioctl (SIOCAIFADDR): file exists
My configuration is two SMC network cards, of the same model.
ifconfig prints the following:
dc0: flags=8843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,SIMPLEX,MULTICAST> mtu 1500
