We are all rather busy here and only have a short period of time
each day to devote to working messages from the mailing list.
I for one am not your on-call Tech Support person that is going
to throw my time away sitting waiting with baited breath for a
question to show up on an IRC channel or a chat module on a
website whenever it's convenient for _you_ to post one.
The store-and-forward mechanism of e-mail makes it so that
I can answer questions when it's convenient for _me_. If you
really need answers straight away then there's phone tech support
available for FreeBSD for a fee.

Hey, this is regarding the website, I think it would be a good idea for
a chat room on your site for people wanting to know questions(like myself as
i am a newbie) so they can get answers straight away. All it takes is some
code in the html source of a page and a few files. I can organize it all for
you, just reply back if you think it's a good idea.
    Thanks,
    Brendan
