I know FreeBSD were designed with intel processor in mind. What about AMD ones? Is it rock solid performance over AMD? Is AMD a good choice of processor? Is there any special consideration when using AMD? Just one more questions: Who's responsible for the AMD port (As far as i known FreeBSD runs only with intel). Is there plans for a sparc port ?
