I'm setting up an LTO3 SAS tape drive in a FreeBSD version 8.0 using the 
Adaptec ASC-1045 controller.  The controller is fine during machine 
post, but FreeBSD doesn't see the controller or tape drive after booting up.

Are there drivers for this controller?  Configuration options?  The 
ASC-1045 and the ASC-1405 should use the same driver, as they are 
external and internal SAS port versions of the same card.

Any help will be appreciated.
