There was an interesting little device on a stack of routers that I saw
in town.

It was a telephone power switch.  The routers were plugged into this 
black box that was plugged into the ac.  There was a phone line plugged
into this black box.  

You could dial the black box, punch in a code, and it would power cycle
the router stack.

I sort of wish I had that for my main box now :-)
