I vote for a 'See also' in chmod or a FAQ entry. Root's `ls' is currently aliased to `ls -g -k'. `-g' is obsolete now, and we should make this an alias to `ls -o -k'. The `-o' flag doesn't do anything for a regular `ls', but in conjunction with a `-l' it will display the file flags, too.
