Lexmark 1000

>Description:

I have an Lexmark 1000 printer. On boot time system reports:
...
nlpt0: <Lexmark 1000 printer> on ppbus0
nlpt0: interrupt driven port
...
but when I try to print anything, even trying lptest > /dev/lpt0,
when lpd was killed , only thing what I was getting it was a paper
scrolling out from the printer, the same thing I obtain when I try
to use the spooler.
