I am trying to port a program I wrote from Linux to FreeBSD and need
the pthread_cancel() function, but it's not in 3.1-STABLE.  I've
looked in the GNATS database and PR bin/7587 reports the same problem
against 2.2.6.  Is this function likely to be added any time soon?  Is
there a fundamental problem with adding it to FreeBSD's pthreads
implementation or is it just that nobody has got round to it yet?
