It should run on 3.4 with little or not problem. It should run on 4.3
if you've installed the compat3x libraries.

You really don't want to run 3.3 on any machine that's exposed to the
internet; there are a large number of security holes that have been
fixed since then. You'd be better off telling us what you're trying to
install, and why it's failing, so we can help you get it running on
4.3 properly (and once that's done, you should disable telnet or
udpate 4.3 from the security fixes).
