Sobral >Organization: >Release: FreeBSD 3.0-CURRENT i386 >Environment: >Description: The port for bash-2.01 do not add bash to /etc/shells. That may cause serious problems since: 1) bash-1.14.7 is not working under current anymore. (bash bug, it seems) 2) uninstalling bash-1.14.7 and installing bash-2.01 will remove bash from /etc/shells. 3) sendmail will scrap messages from anyone who has a filter in it's .forward and doesn't have a valid shell. >How-To-Repeat: 1) Uninstall any bash you have, making sure /etc/shells has no bash. 2) Install bash-2.01 from ports. 3) Check out /etc/shells. :-) Optional: 4) Put a filter in your .forward. 5) See your messages going astray. :-( >Fix: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted:
