Hi,

I get this strange output in my /var/log/messages. It is a mail server
running 4.5 with sendmail

Apr 14 22:31:05 cerebellum /kernel: Connection attempt to UDP
127.0.0.1:512 from 127.0.0.1:3872
Apr 14 22:38:32 cerebellum /kernel: Connection attempt to UDP
127.0.0.1:512 from 127.0.0.1:3888
Apr 14 22:41:54 cerebellum /kernel: Connection attempt to UDP
127.0.0.1:512 from 127.0.0.1:3908
Apr 14 22:55:28 cerebellum /kernel: Connection attempt to UDP
127.0.0.1:512 from 127.0.0.1:3927
Apr 14 22:58:33 cerebellum /kernel: Connection attempt to UDP
127.0.0.1:512 from 127.0.0.1:3937
Apr 14 23:02:28 cerebellum /kernel: Connection attempt to UDP
127.0.0.1:512 from 127.0.0.1:3946
Apr 14 23:03:57 cerebellum /kernel: Connection attempt to UDP
127.0.0.1:512 from 127.0.0.1:3956
Apr 14 23:05:22 cerebellum /kernel: Connection attempt to UDP

This seems to happen for every message that is sent through the mail
server.

Anyone know how to rid myself of this irritating problem =85 because my
cron report is flooded with this junk.
