I hope you can give me some other hints. Why are you trying to use the sbc driver for a cs4232? This makes no sense at all that I can see. I have a 600E and it is possible that the 600 sound card is set up somewhat differently, but it is certainly not a SoundBlaster Pro and the patch would not be applicable. Have you done a /dev/MAKEDEV snd0? While it will probably not work right, you can also try: device pcm combined with options PNPBIOS and see what the probes show.
