Thanks. :-) pchar is also in the Ports Collection: /usr/ports/net/pchar There's also a number of other tools such as ttcp in the Ports Collection. They all have varying capabilities and uses, and are useful in different circumstances, depending on what you (Daniel) want to do. (But none of these run in kernel space.) Bruce.
