Just so everyone knows... Andy's advice was right on. Thanks Andy. KDE3 has build building for almost 2 days now so I'm happy. Well, not happy that it takes days but happy that it's building now. -lee -----Original Message----- From: Andy Fawcett [mailto:andy@athame.co.uk] Sent: Friday, September 05, 2003 8:18 AM To: Lee Dilkie; ports@freebsd.org; kde@freebsd.org Subject: Re: KDE3 - won't build, I'm at a loss On Friday 05 September 2003 14:43, Lee Dilkie wrote: > Ok, > > I've been working on this problem on and off for a week now. I'd guess that removal of a previous version of kdelibs didn't succeed. cd /usr/ports/x11/kdelibs3 make make install (if make install fails, try "make deinstall; make reinstall") After that, portupgrade _should_ work properly A. -- Andy Fawcett | andy@athame.co.uk | tap@kde.org "In an open world without walls and fences, | tap@lspace.org we wouldn't need Windows and Gates." -- anon | tap@fruitsalad.org
