Seems to me it would be crazy > to do that :-) Well, I've done a FreeBSD 2.1.6 -> 2.2.1 upgrade recently using the "Upgrade" option under sysinstall. I also apply patches to Solaris2 using their tools too. But both of these are "blow-away" installations, if need be. When the box you care about runs sunos4, there is no motivation to upgrade :-) Darren
