I run a Dual 533mhz Celeron system on a BP6 mobo. I recompiled my kernel with 'device pcm0' and 'smp' enabeled. SMP works great. I rebooted my system, cd /dev, ./MAKEDEV snd0 to accomidate my soundcard. Rebooted. I cat /dev/sndstat, recognizes it perfectly. Although, when I use xmms, or mpg123, no sound comes from the speakers. 1. The speakers are on, and correctly connected. I just switched over from Linux, and SB Live worked there. 2. Mixer says volume is at 100% What could possibly be going wrong here? I would appriciate any help.
