No. There used to be, but for a number of years now, drives have done their own bad-sector remapping, without telling the OS about it. After a while, they may run out of space in their bad sector tables, and start reporting the failures to the OS. By that point, though, it's time to get a new hard drive. Make sure you have several good backups.
