Edwards if you didn't give root a password, then: #login:root #password: (just press return) then give yourself a password #passwd then use the graphical interface to set up user accounts: #/stand/sysinstall then choose: Configure (in menu) then choose: User Management (in menu) then add a group, then a user. Use "F1" for help while you go. Also, don't forget to add the user (you) to the group "wheel" so that you can obtain root privileges.
